Community Rules

• One account, your own face, your own voice. No impersonating anyone else and no photos of someone who isn't you.
• You must be 18 or over. Accounts we believe belong to a minor are removed immediately and permanently.
• No bots, scripts, or accounts run on behalf of a business.

These are the categories you can report, and the ones we act on:

• Harassment — persistent unwanted contact, intimidation, threats, or abuse in a voice note or message.
• Hate speech — attacking or demeaning people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
• Scams and spam — asking matches for money, investment or crypto pitches, links to paid content, or pushing people to another platform to sell something.
• Sexual content — nudity or sexually explicit photos, voice notes or bios. Ten to One is not that app.
• Anything illegal — including drugs, weapons, and any sexual content involving minors, which we report to the relevant authorities.

Meeting up is the point of Ten to One, so the rules extend to it. Turn up, or cancel properly. Treat people the way you'd want a stranger to treat someone you love. Never pressure anyone into staying, drinking, or going somewhere they didn't agree to.

If a date makes you feel unsafe, you can report it from the date card afterwards. Reports that mention safety are read first.

You can report a profile, a photo, a voice intro, or an individual message. Reporting is one tap and it always does two things at once:

• It sends the report to our review team with the content attached.
• It blocks that person immediately. Any match between you ends, any planned date is cancelled, and neither of you will see the other again anywhere in the app.

You never have to speak to someone to get away from them, and you don't have to justify a block. You can also block without reporting, from any profile.

We don't tell the other person who reported or blocked them.

Voice notes and voice intros are transcribed and screened automatically for prohibited content, as are bios, interests and profile text. Flagged content goes to a human, and nothing is removed by an automatic score alone.

Photos are not screened automatically. They are reviewed by a person when someone reports them, which is why reporting a photo matters — it is how a photo reaches us at all.

If three different people report the same account within 90 days, that account is frozen automatically pending review. We do this before anyone has read the reports, because the cost of waiting is paid by the person being reported about.

You'll get an email telling you what happened and why, and you'll see the same reason in the app. You can still sign in — a suspended account keeps working just enough to read the decision and respond to it.

You can appeal. Open the app, tap Appeal this decision, and tell us what happened in your own words. A person reads every appeal. Replies usually take about a week, and we'll email you the outcome as well as showing it in the app.

If an appeal is upheld, your account is restored straight away. If it's declined, that decision is final for that suspension, and you can write to support@tentoone.app.

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, including from a suspension screen — being suspended never takes away your right to erasure. Deletion is immediate and permanent: there is no grace period and no way to restore a deleted account, which is why the app asks you to type DELETE to confirm.

After a deletion completes, that phone number cannot be used to create a new account for three months. This is how we stop someone breaking the rules, deleting, and coming straight back on the same number. We keep only a scrambled one-way copy of the number for the check — never the number itself.

If you only want a break, pause instead. Pausing hides you from discovery and stops new matches, keeps your profile and conversations exactly as they are, and has no three-month hold. It is in Settings, it is reversible whenever you like, and it is almost always the better choice if there is any chance you will come back.
